- My science courses are cumulative (units build on each other as opposed to being divided into 2 terms). The mark given on a report card will only provide a snapshot for how the student was doing but will not be used to calculate the final mark in the course. Students can challenge prior assessment tasks to prove they understand the concept. Marks from the beginning of the course can change using this method.
- Each week I provide each student a BCeSIS report of their current mark in the course.
